For most, we think of our brows from a beauty standpoint. The beauty industry makes billions of dollars capitalizing on ways to enhance the beauty of those two bands of hair above our eyes. For a person with alopecia, they may have no eyebrows. We also know that having eyebrows define a person's facial expressions by the way they are shaped, the size and where they are placed on the face.
There are many alopecians, mostly ladies who cover up underneath their wigs and their cosmetics to conceal the loss of their eyebrows. They are unsure of this mysterious disease called alopecia. Many are afraid of their own reflections, let alone the mere notion of how others will perceive them.
