Seek help from a professional!

If you or a loved one feel your emotional health is being compromised in any way that is keeping you from living a normal life and it is affecting work, school, relationships with friends or family in any way. Seek help with that first by contacting a licensed mental health professional if you have to.

Here is a list of people to contact:

        https://suicidepreventionlifeline.org/

  • Contact your Family Physician and Insurance Carrier to obtain additional numbers to local mental health providers.

  • Your Family Physician and have him or her refer you to a dermatologist for testing.

  • Research websites like:

NAAF- National Areata Alopecia Foundation - www.naaf.org

Alopecia World - www.alopeciaworld.com

Canadian Alopecia Areata Foundation - http://www.canaaf.org/

Cicatricial Alopecia Research Foundation - www.carfintl.org

Good Luck My Friend! Everything will be OK. Remember there are many that have been where you are now and have survived the ordeal. I know, I am one of them.

Love, Crowned Regal.
